Who this policy is for

This is the privacy policy for the website of Iron Sights Firearms LLC (“we,” “us”), the business you are dealing with. The website itself is built and hosted by The Iron Sites (theironsites.com), a website service that operates the site and handles form submissions on our behalf. This policy explains what the website collects and how it is used.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to enter. If you send a message through the contact form, that is your name, a way to reach you (email and/or phone), and your message. If you request an appointment, that is your name, contact details, and any note you add. If you submit a request through another form on the site, it is the details that form asks for.

The website does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect payment information.

How we use it

We use what you submit only to respond to you and to handle your request. Your submission is stored so that we (Iron Sights Firearms LLC) can respond, and — where our website provider’s email service is set up — it is also emailed to us so we can follow up. We do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across other websites. It loads no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

We keep simple, anonymous counts of how often pages are viewed so we can understand how the site is used. These counts do not use cookies and do not store your IP address or any device identifier. Our hosting providers may process your IP address briefly, as any website does, to deliver and protect the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. The information you submit goes to us (Iron Sights Firearms LLC) and to the service providers that operate this website on our behalf — the website host and its email-delivery service — and nowhere else.

How long we keep it

We do not keep your information indefinitely. We automatically delete the contact messages and other form submissions you send 24 months after you send them. Appointment (booking) records are deleted 24 months after the appointment date. If you send a transfer request, the description of what you are transferring is removed even sooner — 6 months after you send it — while the rest of that record follows the schedule above until it too is deleted.

Separately, if this business’s page was first set up through a preview link, any anonymous records of how that preview page was used are deleted 13 months after they are recorded. The simple, anonymous page-view counts described above are not tied to you and are kept only as aggregate totals.

You do not need to wait for these automatic schedules: if you would like us to delete something you sent at any time, contact us (see “Your choices” below) and we will.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Firearms transfers and background checks

This website is used only to contact the shop, request a transfer, or book an appointment. It does not ask for or require serial numbers, ATF Form 4473 information, or NICS background-check data, and none of its forms are designed to collect them. Those are handled in person at the shop under federal and state law — never through this website.

If you use the transfer-request form, you only need to tell us enough to expect your order (such as the make and model, and who is shipping it). Please do not enter serial numbers or other regulated details there; they are recorded in person when you pick up.
