Iron Sights Firearms is a family-run shop serving Frederick County since 2014. We specialize in FFL transfers, custom Cerakote finishing, and helping first-time buyers understand the process. We keep our fees posted and our paperwork tight.
Simple Process
How a Transfer Works
Most appointments take about 15 minutes once your background check clears.
Ship it here — have your seller ship the firearm to our FFL and send us the tracking. We log it the moment it arrives.
Book your time — pick an appointment or give us a call, and bring a valid Maryland photo ID with your current address.
Finish on site — we complete the federal Form 4473 and run the NICS background check. Most transfers wrap up in about fifteen minutes once you’re cleared.
